Evora Las Vegas, the mixed-use development from Digital Desert BP LLC, is adding another new restaurant to its food and beverage roster. Rumi Room, a new fine-dining concept featuring Persian, Indian, and Pakistani cuisine, is working to open at Evora before the end of the year.

“We’re aiming at the higher end of Persian, Pakistani, and Indian food,” Mohammed Nafissi, a partner in the project, told What Now on Thursday. Nafissi says the restaurant’s young chef is preparing a knockout menu featuring high-end ingredients like saffron and caviar.

“We’ll be having a full liquor bar, and on Fridays and Saturdays we’ll have very unique music and entertainment until about two in the morning, with plenty of dancing.”

Rumi Room, which is named after the 13th-century poet, will seat about 60 people inside and another 40 (approximately) in its outside seating. Opening at Evora, it will join a community of food and beverage spots like Basilico Ristorante Italiano, Taps & Barrels Beerhouse, and Lemon Tree Cafe and Grocery Store.
