The rollouts have begun in Southwest Vegas’s The Bend development, with new locations from Mothership Coffee Roasters, Freed’s Dessert Shop, and The Great Greek, and more great concepts are still on the way. One of these—La Jolla, California’s Killer Whale Creamery—will be “Throwing down bold ice cream that kicks butt and takes names” later this year.

“We’re not 100 percent sure on the date yet,” co-owner Dillon Berkabile told What Now on Wednesday. “We’re going to try to get in four to five months from now.”

The Killer Whale Creamery menu features dairy-based flavors like Smores on the Beach, Horchata Churro Topped with Serrano Sugar, and Lovely Vanilla Chai Tea. Then there are Vegan flavors like Strawberry Coconut, Mexican Tajin Topped Chamoy, and Blueberry Dark Chocolate.

It’s not yet known what differences can be expected in the offerings at The Bend, but Berkabile says “it’s definitely going to be a little bit different.”

What Now is awaiting an update with more information on the Killer Whale Creamery opening, so stay tuned for more details.
