It was only last fall that What Now reported on the grand opening of With Love, Always, the fast-casual burger and ice cream restaurant from Drew Belcher and Kevin Whelan (creators of smash-hit Vegas ice cream brand Sorry, Not Sorry) and Damian Ocampo.
“It’s our ‘love letter to Las Vegas,’ Drew Belcher told What Now at the time. “We use fresh, never frozen beef with patties being formed fresh all day. High quality beef smashed thin to lock in all the juices with a great beef lace crust! Our fries are fried in 100% Wagyu Beef Tallow. We’ll also be serving French custard dipped soft serve cones.”
Now, the up-and-coming burger chain is already preparing for its first expansion. Its next stop? The Bend.
This week, What Now came across building permit paperwork submitted to Clark County for a restaurant project called “With Love Burgers” at 8670 W Sunset Rd, Suite H-110. That name seemed awfully close to With Love, Always; and With Love, Always seemed like a great fit for The Bend, hypothetically speaking, so we went looking for details.
We didn’t have to look far. Right there on The Bend’s website, you can find an entry for With Love, Always.
“Welcome to With Love, Always — a classic, feel-good burger joint where American food culture is celebrated. We serve smash burgers and smiles,” says the description provided on the Bend website. “In 2021, we helped pioneer the modern Vegas smash burger scene from a parking lot with one simple goal: to make the best smash burger possible using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Hundreds of hungry locals showed up to support us, and just a few years later, the first official With Love, Always opened its doors. The rest is history.”
What Now reached out to Drew Belcher on Friday to ask about the details of the launch at The Bend. Belcher was not immediately available for comment.
