Factory Place Hospitality Group is shaking up their presence on the Strip next month, as they phase out Sixth + Mill pizzeria in The Venetian and introduce another Los Angeles favorite: Brera Ristorante. The brand will be known in Las Vegas as Brera Osteria.

Owner Matteo Ferdinandi spoke with What Now Las Vegas about what to expect with this launch in St. Marks Square at The Grand Canal Shoppes.

“The only difference between our Los Angeles and Las Vegas restaurants will be that we’re searing meats on cast iron here,” Matteo explained. “We don’t have a wood-burning grill in The Venetian. Besides that, the recipes are all the same.”

In that case, Brera Osteria patrons can anticipate a Milanese menu developed by Chef Angelo Auriana, featuring dishes like gnocci piedmontese with hazelnuts, as well as delicacies like nebbiolo beef cheek with lentils.

The extensive drink menu includes an array of craft cocktails and a wine list selected by Matteo Ferdinandi’s wife, Francine Diamond Ferdinandi.

While Factory Place Hospitality Group is phasing out their Sixth + Mill chapter by Feb. 16, their other Las Vegas venture Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano continues to serve house-made pasta and seafood dishes in The Venetian’s Restaurant Row.
