Not far from the intersection between Spring Mountain Rd and Decatur Blvd, Pita’s, a new restaurant bringing Israeli street food to Chinatown, is set to open soon. Pita’s LLC recently submitted paperwork to Clark County for a restaurant in Suite 234 at 5115 Spring Mountain Rd.

“We’re bringing Tel Aviv to Chinatown,” owner Micha Ben-Shlush told What Now Las Vegas in a Friday morning phone call.

The restaurant’s menu will be split about half-and-half between vegetarian and carnivore dishes, the latter mainly featuring chicken and beef. These dishes include shawarma, kebab, pita sandwiches, and more.

“It’s an open kitchen,” Ben-Shlush said. “Everything is made fresh, in front of people.”

Pita’s will also offer beer and wine, plus a comfortable atmosphere, with large windows and a second-floor view of the environs. It is situated on Spring Mountain Rd between S Lindell Rd and Decatur Blvd, in Pacific Asian Plaza, a small retail center that is home to local shops like Shun Fat Supermarket, plus eateries like Sushi Neko and Big Dan Shanxi Taste.
