Meráki Greek Grill is in expansion mode. After expanding to Utah for the first time earlier this year, it is in the process of developing multiple locations in the Las Vegas market, as well. In addition to a location that just broke ground in the Arts District, the team is bringing another spot to 1685 East Cactus, Suite 100, located near the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Spencer Street.

Co-owner Joe Djavairian told What Now Las Vegas that the spot will be between 4,000 and 5,000 square feet. Construction is expected to start soon, and they hope to open there by April or May.

This will mark the seventh location in the Las Vegas area, joining existing spots in Spring Valley, Summerlin, Henderson and Las Vegas. There are also two locations open in Utah.

Meráki Greek Grill, founded in 2017 by Jerry Goumroian, offers a modern spin on classic Mediterranean cuisine. The menu includes traditional Greek offerings such as spanakopita, avgolemono soup (lemon chicken soup) and saganaki. It also offers signature bowls served with pita and tzatziki, gyros, an Athenian chicken sandwich with phyllo-crusted chicken, steak and lamb skewers and falafel.

This expansion is one piece of a larger plan for the brand. Djavairian said they are also in the process of breaking into the Salt Lake City market, with a location planned to open this coming March in University Place Mall in Orem, Utah. Beyond that, the team is setting their sights on a Phoenix expansion.
