A popular Mexican restaurant in Red Rock Casino is closing after nearly two years. Leoncito shared its sudden closure to Las Vegas diners through social media. The last day of service is Sunday, September 28.

The much-loved Mexican restaurant at 11011 W Charleston Blvd. will close on September 28. Through a recent Instagram post, Leoncito stated that the closure comes as a part of the Red Rock Casino’s ‘ongoing culinary refresh.’

The Mexican establishment encouraged diners to visit before it closes for good later this month. Leoncito also thanked its team for their passion, creativity, and dedication to bringing Mexican flavors.

About Leoncito

Owned by hospitality brand ‘Wish You Were Here,’ the Mexican restaurant opened its doors in 2023. Menu highlights included Queso Fundido, Cotija Caesar, and Queso Fresco Hotcakes. Drinks featured classic Mexican cocktails and 200+ artisanal tequilas & mezcals.

Leoncito confirmed it will not be relocating and is closing permanently. It confirmed the same while replying to one of the comments on the farewell post. However, loyal patrons can explore its Italian sister restaurant, Kassi Beach House, which will still stay open at Virgin Hotels.
