The upcoming Queen Las Vegas, the Strip’s only LGBTQ+ property, promises to be not only a chic, mid-century modern style boutique hotel but a full restaurant-and-nightclub experience.
“It has been my mission to create a vibrant and inclusive entertainment district for our LGBTQ+ community, and I’m thrilled to announce that Q Hospitality Group has secured a prime location on the iconic Las Vegas Strip to create the Gayest destination in Las Vegas,” said Eduardo Cordova, CEO of Q Hospitality Group in a statement.
What Now reached out to Cordova on Friday to inquire further about Queen Las Vegas’s planned culinary and nightlife offerings.
“It’s a seven-days-a-week restaurant. It’s going to be California-inspired fusion, and we’ll have a lot of specialty cocktails as well as signature dishes,” said the nightlife impresario. “Everything is mid-century art deco, and we’ll have a lot of plush velvet booth seating. So imagine: you’ll be dining and drinking cocktails, and all of a sudden, there will be a show happening all around you.”
Added to these festivities will be Queen’s drag brunch, signature large-presentation cocktails (served in a disco ball, rumor has it), and fifteen gaming devices. The menu, though still under development, also promises to include plenty of plant-based choices for vegan guests.
“We’ll have shareable plates, too,” Cordova said. “So you can come in for light bites, full dinner, or date night.”
