Recession Brewery Partner Tiffany Nguyen’s dream to add a new brewery to Las Vegas could become a reality by the end of the year.
She and Founder Timothy Cam, Founder and CEO of Dirt Dog (which is adding a third Vegas outpost), plan to open a brewery in the Sin City continues to move forward.
“We probably won’t be open until Q4 or Q1 the following year,” she said.
She said the business intends to primarily be a brewery to start off.
“My partner and I were interested in looking into the process and want to focus in Vegas,” Nguyen said.
Their goal, for Recession Brewery long-term, is to create a new American beer brand and break through the craft beer mold.
“Our goal, when thinking about Recession Brewery long term, is to create an ultra-powerful American beer brand,” according to the company’s website. “Beer imports and craft beer companies have put a stain on non-craft domestic beer brands and have cheapened how consumers perceive those brands. We want to break through the craft beer mold and be an American branded powerhouse and is a beautiful thing.”
While Nguyen did not reveal where the brewery would be located and the company’s Instagram has yet to post any updates, Vegas beer drinkers can expect a fresh new local flavor to try out soon.
Cam could not be reached for comment in time of publication.
“Las Vegas was hit hardest during the Great Recession and still feels the effects of the recession today,” according to the company’s website. “This is why Recession Brewery will be born in Las Vegas. It is made for Las Vegas to share in the struggle and triumphs of Las Vegas.”
