It’s an important time for food and drink at Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. An ongoing “casino-wide transformation” has included the opening of the resort’s long-awaited outpost of Lotus of Siam from Bua Food Group, along with the still-upcoming Naxos Taverna and its attendant Kallisto Oyster Bar. (And don’t forget about Nielsen’s Frozen Custard!)

To all these can be added another concept. The resort will also be adding a new elevated lounge called Rouge Room, according to recent coverage in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Rouge Room will be launched in partnership with restaurateur Nick Mathers of Wish You Were Here Group, which operates restaurants in New York, Los Angeles, and here in Las Vegas. The menu will feature caviar service and a seafood tour, plus table-side custom martinis and live entertainment.

The lounge will open in the 5,500 square-foot former Crimson event space, featuring velvet curtains, two bars, and a grand piano.

“We look forward to elevating the nightlife scene and adding an exceptional cocktail experience to the neighborhood,” Scott Nelson, vice president and general manager of Red Rock, said in the Review-Journal coverage.
