Hospitality company 81/82 Group — Más Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila, Oxford Social Club — is planning its latest concept for downtown Summerlin.
Called La Neta Cocina y Lounge (“La Neta” is Spanish for “be real), the incoming eatery is set to replace Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken, at 1770 Festival Plaza Dr. Suite 200, Eater Las Vegas Friday first reported.
Social media and a website for La Neta confirm the news and location, but reps for the restaurant, including 81/82’s head honcho Ryan Labbe, did not immediately respond to a request for comment Friday.
The 5,336 square-foot space will serve reinvented Mexican eats alongside a beverage program fashioned around mescal and margaritas.
According to Eater, the menu is a collab of several of the city’s leading culinary minds including Israel Castro (Javier’s at Aria) and Lanny Chin (The Slanted Door, Slurp Society). An opening is on the books for summer 2021.
