Permit filings have revealed upcoming plans for the Peace Way Center at 4520 S Hualapai Way: a brand-new coffee shop called Caffeine Machine.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to the owner Melissa Anwar, who confirmed that residents of Summerlin South won’t have to wait much longer for a fresh Caffeine Machine brew; she plans to open the cafe by the end of February.
As of Wednesday, the Caffeine Machine website is still taking applications for barista and management positions.
Other pre-opening website teasers include a weekly drink special, where they plan to offer a rotating menu of unique specialty coffees.
Like many up-and-coming businesses in the current climate, Caffeine Machine has encountered its fair share of roadblocks. Though they originally intended to open by the end of 2020, the cafe is still working its way through the state’s permit system.
By the end of February, however, Summerlin South residents should be able to visit the “comfortable, chic coffee shop,” as it is described on the Caffeine Machine Instagram. Once open, the shop will be just across the street from the Siena Golf Club.
