Located at 5300 S Eastern Ave, Suite 140, Stomping Grounds is a trading card and collectibles shop that “crush[es] TCG prices.”
If you’re not familiar, TCG is short for “trading card game,” as in complex deck-building games like Magic the Gathering and the Pokemon Trading Card Game.
“Welcome to Stomping Grounds Game Store – Your Ultimate Destination for Trading Card Games! Located in the heart of the community, Stomping Grounds Game Store is your go-to hub for all things TCG,” says a description of Stomping Grounds provided to Google Maps by the game store. “With a dedicated play area, weekly events, and a welcoming atmosphere, we’re more than just a store—we’re a community for trading card game fans of all ages and skill levels. Come in to trade, compete, or simply connect with fellow players.”
And as Stomping Grounds continues to develop as gathering place for TCG fans and collectors, with special events and tournaments, it’s now in the process of adding a food and drink component.
This week, What Now came across restaurant licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by Stomping Grounds Enterprises, at 5300 S Eastern Ave, for both Suite 140 and Suite 150 (for the moment, Stomping Grounds’ website only lists Suite 140).
What Now confirmed the news with a representative of Stomping Grounds on Friday: Stomping Grounds is working on permitting and other processes to add a snack bar to the space. The representative said it’s too soon to share details, however, as some time remains before it gets under way. We’ll be on the lookout for more details, so stay tuned!
