Gaudi Bar & Casino Pit Renovation
The Gaudi Bar at the heart of the casino floor closed Sunday, Jan. 11 to begin work on a stunning new bar and neighboring table games pit renovation to completely transform the casino’s energetic center bar. The enhancements will add a modern flair to the notable architecture inspired by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi that will honor the original stained-glass architecture while introducing sleek, contemporary elements that elevate the energy of the surrounding table games pit.
At the center of the experience is a sculptural round bar crowned by a dramatic ten-foot-wide, eight-foot-tall hand-blown crystal chandelier from Preciosa International, refracting light across rippled metal ceilings and backlit stained-glass skylights.
Plush, jewel-tone lounge seating, tall communal tables, bartop gaming, and unobstructed sightlines create an inviting atmosphere for socializing, people-watching, and live entertainment. Enhanced with bookmatched stonework, dimmable LED lighting, new carpeting, hanging televisions, and multiple entrances, the new Gaudi Bar emerges as a striking focal point reimagining classic Las Vegas glamour with a vibrant, next-generation casino experience.
During the renovation, the full 23 table games will be located adjacent to the new casino bar offering live action on all guests’ favorite table games.
“Our guests have been absolutely impressed with the upgrades we are making at Sunset Station and the addition of this new casino bar adds another exciting amenity to the mix,” said Jordan Seager, Vice President and General Manager of Sunset Station in a statement. “Gaudi Bar is a treasured gem in Las Vegas and while we upgrade the experience, we will still keep the distinct charm that has made it a favorite for all these years, and yes, that means the stained glass will remain untouched.”
As part of its ongoing transformation, Sunset Station continues to roll out enhancements across the casino floor including an all-new Player Services area that combined the cage and loyalty club, updated entry vestibules and continued renovations to the guest restrooms that match the existing property upgrades. These upgrades build on recent completed additions, including the opening of the state-of-the-art STN Sportsbook and bar and Yard House, as well as most of the casino floor phased refresh.
Station Casinos continues its $53 million reinvestment of its off-Strip portfolio with the next evolution of Sunset Station’s property-wide refresh. Leading the next phase in 2026 will be the debut of the famed Stoney’s Rockin’ Country, the transformation of the Gaudi Bar and casino pit alongside a continued refresh of the casino. Additional projects will be announced in the coming months.
