Luchini, a new restaurant concept from Tao Group Hospitality is set to open at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino this fall. The new restaurant is described in a recent press release as a “casually refined Italian pasta and pizza parlor.”

“As a native New Yorker, I’m excited to bring a fresh new Italian spot reminiscent of iconic New York mainstays to Las Vegas, the city I have called home since 2005,” Jason Strauss, Co-CEO of Tao Group Hospitality, said in the press release. “We are thrilled to expand our offerings at MGM Grand and continue to grow our relationship with the MGM Resorts team.”

The Luchini menu will offer handmade pasta, pizzas, salads, and “timeless dishes served in a welcoming and lively space.” An adjacent pizza-by-the-slice shop will feature a counter serving quick pizza offerings for diners looking to eat on the go.

“We know what the Tao Group Hospitality team is cooking up with Luchini is going to be a great addition to our culinary offerings,” said MGM Grand President & COO Michael Neubecker. “Whether it is a quick slice before or after a concert at MGM Grand Garden Arena, a leisurely dinner with friends or a late evening hang for cocktails and entertainment, the restaurant will welcome guests for a fun and lively Las Vegas dining experience.”

What Now was unable to reach a representative of Tao Group Hospitality last week for further comment on the Luchini opening.
