Southern Highlands will soon be home to Doma Korean BBQ, a new restaurant from the team behind Enterprise’s Goong Korean BBQ. Doma—whose name means “cutting board”—will offer all-you-can-eat barbecue along with a variety of other Korean dishes, including rice dishes like the ever-popular (and healthy) Bibimbap and soups like Yukgaejang, a spicy red beef soup.
“We’re bringing out Korean dining with all-you-can-eat barbecue, plus high-end American Wagyu,” Owner David Sim told What Now Las Vegas on Tuesday.
The menu can be expected to resemble that of Goong Korean BBQ, located on the southwest corner of the Rainbow–Robindale intersection, which has been in operation for six years. Expect favorites like bulgogi, samgyeopsal (pork belly), and galbi.
In addition to barbecue, Goong’s menu features a wide variety of other dishes, including Seafood Pancake, Kimchi Fried Rice, Mul Naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles), and many more.
Sim cited Southern Highlands’ growing population as a draw for the new restaurant, which will be located on Southern Highlands Pkwy, between Cactus Ave and Somerset Hills Ave, just north of Dragon Tiger Noodle Company and Rise and Shine, a Steak and Egg Place.
Doma Korean BBQ is working towards an opening in June or July of 2022.
