Founded in 1964 in Yermo, California, where it offered a menu of 19-cent tacos and 24-cent cheeseburgers, Del Taco has grown into a fast food megachain with around 600 locations.

After opening a new Las Vegas outpost in Circus Circus Hotel & Casino, Feel Good Brands, headed up by franchisee Lincoln Spoor, is preparing to open another Del Taco at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino, according to recent coverage by VerdictFoodService.com.

The taco chain offers a selection of Mexican-cuisine-inspired fast food, starting the day with breakfast choices like the Breakfast Burrito, the Breakfast Toasted Wrap, and the Epic Scrambler Burrito. A selection of tacos, burritos (try the Epic Loaded Queso Burrito), and bowls and salads like the Taco Salad with Seasoned Beef and the Pollo Asado Bowl with Fresh Guac, give the menu its wide range.

And don’t forget crispy chicken, available in a box with fries or in the form of a taco or Epic Crispy Chicken & Guac Burrito.
