The National Museum of Organized Crime & Law Enforcement—better known as the Mob Museum—is adding a new element to its entertainment/food-and-beverage setup. Next month, the Mob Museum will launch its Starlight Plaza, an event space and cocktail lounge, according to coverage by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The coverage describes the Starlight Plaza as a “permanent, walled-in addition just east of the museum that will be part seasonal alfresco cocktail lounge, part entertainment and event venue.”

With a space covering 7,700 square feet, and a design that “features breezeblocks; shades of pink, green and gold (a nod to desert modernism and classic Strip resorts); and mixed-media murals” the Starlight Plaza will make a great addition to the Mob Museum’s hospitality portfolio (which also includes The Underground Speakeasy & Distillery).

One top of live music and other special events, Starlight Plaza will offer cocktails and mocktails, and the RJ coverage says it also plans, for a limited time, a “Golden Age menu” featuring $5 drinks.
