Founded by Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi of JKS Restaurants, London’s Gymkhana is a celebrated global destination for Indian food, and it has two Michelin stars to show for it. Now the brand has plans stateside, and those plans are bringing Gymkhana to the Las Vegas Strip—Aria Resort & Casino, to be precise. It’s opening this fall.
The resort announced the opening this week in a press release, saying the new restaurant, “inspired by the private clubs of India—where high society gathers to dine, drink, socialize and play sport,” will “introduce a new level of sophistication to ARIA’s food and beverage portfolio.”
“Gymkhana in London has firmly established itself as a global destination, drawing guests from around the world for its remarkable, curated experience,” Ayesha Molino, President & COO of ARIA, said in the press release. “We’re honored to partner with the JKS family to bring this iconic brand to Las Vegas, delivering something truly unforgettable, in a way only ARIA can.”
The menu will feature cuisine drawn from all over India, introducing Vegas to some of the London location’s signatures: “tandoor-grilled specialties, classic regional curries, fragrant biryanis and chaat-style sharing plates.” There will also be Vegas-exclusive dishes and Indian-inspired cocktails.
“Las Vegas is home to many world-class restaurants and showcases many cuisines, but the ARIA team was the first to recognize that the time is ripe for Indian food to be at the forefront,” JKS Co-Founder Jyotin Sethi said in the press release. “Their sensitive approach to the partnership is something we have hugely valued, and they match our desire to ensure the authenticity of the Gymkhana experience, from London to Las Vegas. We are thrilled to be bringing our Indian hospitality and food to such a vibrant scene.”
