Villa’s Tacos is set to bring its Estilo Los Angeles flavors to the Valley this summer. The Highland Park-born taqueria that was recently featured by Bad Bunny in the 2026 halftime show will make its Las Vegas debut at Eat Your Heart.

According to a recent press release, Villa’s Tacos will open its first eatery outside of Los Angeles inside the Durango Casino & Resort at 6915 S Durango Dr.

Victor Villa is the owner of the famously beloved taqueria. What Now Las Vegas reached out to Villa to find out more details about the expansion, but instead got Victor Villa Sr., who excitedly confirmed the news and put us in contact with his son. But the Villa’s Tacos founder was unable to share additional information by the time of this publication.

Perhaps, rightfully so.

“Devoted fans line up daily to enjoy the restaurant’s signature homemade blue corn tortillas, crispy Monterrey Jack cheese skirt, and meat, guacamole, crema, cotija, onion, and cilantro,” the press release announcing the Las Vegas opening reads.

“Recognized as a Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand destination and the only restaurant featured during Bad Bunny’s Big Game halftime performance, Villas Tacos is a destination known for its authentic cuisine and humble Los Angeles roots.”

Villa’s Tacos’ new Las Vegas fanbase can look forward to signature bases including tacos, queso tacos, and mulitas filled with the guests’ choice of chicken thighs, skirt steak, chorizo, grilled soyrizo, frijoles con nopal, or papas a la plancha. Guests can also expect Villas’ signature fried Baja fish taco, along with a new-to-the-menu wood-fired tacos al pastor, prepared on a wood-burning grill.

The beloved LA taqueria that the casino will debut in is also enlarging its footprint. Durango Casino & Resort recently unveiled its Phase III expansion, which will introduce new dining, entertainment, and gaming offerings.

“As Durango continues to grow its culinary lineup, we’re proud to welcome sought-after concepts like Villa’s Tacos to the property,” Vice President and General Manager of Durango Casino & Resort, David Horn, said in the press release.

“Their distinctive flavors, quality ingredients, and strong connection to their community make them a natural fit for the property and a compelling new offering for our guests.”

Through the vast journey the Villa’s Tacos owner has embarked on to be able to expand his dream outside of LA, Villa has carried his authentic flavors.

“From the beginning, Villa’s Tacos has been rooted in family and tradition, with a deep respect for the ingredients and flavors that define our food,” Villa said in the press release

“We’re proud to bring that same approach to Durango and share what makes Villa’s Tacos special with a new community.”

Rooted in tradition, quality, and community, Villa’s Tacos has quickly become a staple in Southern California, with three establish brick-and mortar locations in Los Angeles: two in Highland Park and one in Grand Central Market.

It is anticipated that the same effect will take place in Sin City.
