With executive chef Lyle Kaku at the helm of the culinary operations, Sahara Las Vegas will soon debut Zeffer’s cafe.
The new cafe will provide “an elevated casual dining experience” with a breakfast and lunch menu featuring staple comfort foods, such as the Chicken & Waffle (two-piece wings, bacon-chive waffles, and a house-made spicy maple syrup); the Frosted Flakes French Toast (made with brioche encrusted with frosted flakes, banana and Nutella); and the Dungeness Crab Omelet (west coast crabmeat, Swiss cheese, green onions and chipotle aioli).
Zeffer’s dinner menu will feature signature dishes such as Prosciutto Tartine (multigrain bread, arugula, Reggiano, truffle oil and burrata cheese) and Zeffer’s Burger (angus beef, topped with lettuce, tomato and jalapeno-bacon jam in a brioche bun) as well as a selection of Chinese dishes including Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Honey Walnut Prawns.
Eater Las Vegas reports that Zeffer’s will debut later this July and be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
