What Now reported back in September on the issuing of a building permit for a new Zippy’s location at 10810 W Charleston Blvd. in Summerlin. Since that time, new details had yet to emerge about plans for more Zippy’s expansion in Vegas—until Friday, when the beloved Hawaiian fast-casual chain announced that it is planning to open not only that location, but another, 5485 Camino al Norte.
The announcement said both locations are expected to open in early 2026. Hiring events will be held on December 9 and December 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sahara West Library.
Favorites from the Zippy’s menu include the Char Siu Pork Plate (pork marinated in char siu sauce), Char Siu Pork Pac (Hoki, fried wun tun, Portuguese sausage, and pork marinated in char siu sauce), and Teriyaki chicken. The brand has made a splash in Las Vegas in recent years, with a debut that has been following by two additional stores. Zippy’s Summerlin and Zippy’s Camino Al Norte will be locations number four and five in Las Vegas.
“These two locations are a testament of our commitment to our Zippy’s guests here in Las Vegas. We hear you and we’re committed to serve our ‘ohana in the north side of the city” says Belma Soliven, regional operations director. “Zippy’s is committed to providing our guests with exceptional service through the spirit and hospitality of Hawaii. We cannot wait to welcome our guests on the north side of Las Vegas and invite them to try a taste of Hawaii comfort-food.”
What Now reached out to Zippy’s CEO Jason Higa on Monday to ask about plans for the opening. Higa was not immediately available for comment.
