Popular Hawaii-based restaurant chain Zippy’s is planning the arrival of its second Las Vegas location before its first has even opened! The restaurant chain has submitted permitting paperwork to the City of Henderson, according to recent coverage on Fox5Vegas.com.

“Zippy’s grew from simple beginnings in 1966, when brothers Francis and Charles Higa started their first restaurant on King Street in Honolulu,” reads the About Zippy’s page on the brand’s website. “Through their hard work and vision, Zippy’s has become a Hawaii institution, with 22 locations on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii Island, and—coming soon—Las Vegas!”

Zippy’s considerable menu features breakfast offerings like the Korean Fried Chicken Breakfast and Bentos like the Bento #2, with Portuguese sausage, Spam®, and scrambled eggs on a bed of rice. Daily Plates include the Zip Pac®:

“The most popular item on our menu! A piece of golden fried chicken, a breaded white flaky hoki fish filet, a tender slice of teriyaki marinated beef, and Spam®, on a bed of rice topped with classic Japanese takuan pickled radish and furikake seasoning.”
