Zippy’s Will Open Its Third Location in the Valley This Fall

“Next stop… Henderson!” begins a press release put out by Zippy’s Restaurants last week.

The Hawaiian restaurant chain already has 24 locations in its home state, plus another two on Hawaii’s ninth island, and now it’s preparing for the launch of its third restaurant in the Las Vegas market, opening this fall at 9570 S Eastern Ave.

“We are thrilled to open our S. Eastern location!” Belma Soliven, regional operations director, said in the press release. “Bringing Zippy’s to the S. Eastern community is an opportunity for us to share a little piece of our home from Hawaii to more our ‘ohana (family) here in Southern Nevada!”

The Zippy’s menu features a range of choices, including Daily Plates like Chick Katsu, Korean Fried Chicken, and Teriyaki Beef; Hawaii’s Favorites like the Zip Pac (Our take on the Japanese Bento, full of local Hawai’i favorites – fried chicken, breaded hoki fish, teriyaki beef, and SPAM on rice topped by furikake [seaweed flakes] and takuan [pickled daikon radish]).

And that’s just a small taste of what this big menu has to offer—a menu that has made Zippy’s famous across Hawaii.

“Ask anyone in Hawaii about Zippy’s Restaurants and you will hear real stories about cherished weekly dinners with grandparents, post-surf-session munchies satiated, romances won and lost at the restaurant, and the iconic Zippy’s food that helped them to celebrate it all,” says the Zippy’s website.

Hiring is currently under way for the South Eastern location, as well the brand’s other Las Vegas stores, adds the press release:

“Zippy’s is seeking fun-loving and positive individuals with a range of skills and experiences to fill positions across multiple teams, including back-of-house, front-of-house, and management positions.
