Beast Mode Apparel has been on a Las Vegas hiatus ever since the brand’s Town Square location closed in 2019. Now, Beast Mode is coming back to the city via Mandalay Bay, recent permit filings have revealed.

Former Raider and retired Seahawk Marshawn Lynch started the lifestyle and clothing brand in 2014 and has since opened brick and mortar shops in Oakland and Seattle. In July, Beast Mode Apparel entered a partnership with the sports retailer Fanatics, in hopes of further expanding their online merchandise.

Just last week, Lynch launched another business venture called Dodi Blunts, a marijuana brand now on sale in Bay Area dispensaries.

“Beast Mode” began not as a brand name, but a nickname. He explained the origins to Sports Business Daily:

“After I just heard everybody, ‘Oh, he a beast, he a beast. Beast mode that. Beast mode that,’” Lynch said after debuting the brand. “So I mean, I just decided to make some hoodies.”

In addition to the retail brand, the name also belongs to Beast Mode Productions, which is reported to generate anywhere from $5 million to $7 million this year, according to a recent Forbes article. Beast Mode Las Vegas has not yet officially announced the move to Mandalay Bay yet, but according to the paperwork, they are on track to open this year.
