Station Casinos announces the next phase of Durango Casino & Resort’s master plan with a 275,000 square foot podium expansion on the property’s north end to add a lively mix of new gaming, dining and recreational amenities to complement the southwest Las Vegas resort and enhance the guest experience. The news was shared on the Company’s third-quarter earnings call and highlighted the following additions to the resort:
- An expanded casino floor with 400 additional slot machines
- A 36-lane state-of-the-art bowling facility
- Luxury movie theaters
- Several new restaurant concepts and food hall outlets to complement the existing culinary options
- Multiple entertainment venues
Construction on the $385 million project is expected to begin in January 2026 and will take approximately 18 months to finish. More information and details about the expansion partners will be revealed in the coming months.
Durango Casino & Resort previously announced Phase II expansion will include a new covered parking structure with nearly 2,000 convenient parking spaces, over 25,000 square feet of new casino space including a new high-limit slot and bar. The new space will also add 230 new slot machines, with 120 dedicated to the new high-limit room, all set to open in late-December 2025.
