The Los Angeles Office of Zoning Administration has approved plans for a 114-unit eldercare facility at the southeastern corner of the intersection of Chatsworth Street and Reseda Boulevard in Northridge, according to a determination letter posted last month by the city.

The proposed development is being led by Oregon-based senior living developer Seasons Living and will take shape at 10650 Reseda Boulevard, just east of New Life Church of Nazarene, which is also the owner of the project site. Plans call for 87 assisted living units and 27 memory care units in a two-story building designed by project architect Hochhauser Blatter Associates Architecture & Planning, according to planning documents.

Approvals granted last month include an eldercare facility unified permit and site plan review for a development resulting in more than 50 new units.

The roughly 39-foot-tall, 133,000-square-foot community will contain amenities including a theater, lounge room, bistro dining area, private dining area, beauty room and barber, on-site medical clinic, pair of courtyards open to the sky, and other features.

The development will provide 67 automobile parking spaces between underground and surface parking levels, as well as space for 40 bicycles.

Also involved in plans are landscape architect SQLA and project representative three6ixty, according to planning documents.
