Kenihan Development is proposing a 27-unit residential mid-rise in Echo Park, at 1449 – 1451 N. Echo Park Ave.

The yet-to-be-named four-story project would include a teeny weeny 210-square-foot ground-level commercial space, and three of its units would be designated as “very low income.”

Kenihan is seeking “discretionary incentives” for the project to allow for an eleven feet height increase from the current 45-foot zoning designation, as well as a reduction of the “side yards” from seven feet to five.

The transit-oriented development (TOC) would have subterranean parking with 24 vehicle spaces and 34 bicycle spaces.
