Pop’s Bagels — an emerging carb-centric concept with locations in Culver City, Fairfax, and Brentwood — is opening its fourth outpost at 447 N Beverly Drive in the 90210 district, according to signage posted to the space’s exterior.
Founded in 2017 by Zach Liporace, Pop’s has steadily become an LA dietary staple with its hot bagels, hand-crafted cream cheeses, and made-from-scratch cultured butter.
The brand’s Instagram doesn’t hurt its popularity either as a quilt of eye-catching bagel arrangements covers its feed — some featuring caviar and others showcasing lengthy cheese pulls. Most apparent on the page, however, is the care with which each bagel is made and assembled.
While Pop’s boasts a minimal menu with only five, small-batch bagel flavors (plain, everything, sesame seed, poppyseed, and cinnamon raisin), it’s the team’s outstanding pairings — like pickled jalapeno cream cheese and tarragon chicken salad — that elevate each doughy creation to the next level. Pop’s also offers three gluten-free flavors: everything, plain, and sesame.
Though Liporace didn’t respond to What Now Los Angeles‘ request for comment, it appears he’s not done expanding just yet. A suggestion box on the company’s website begs the question, “Where should [we] open a shop next?”
