A new golf simulator restaurant-bar is planning to join Sherman Oaks later this year. Hapa Haus will open at the Sherman Oaks Galleria at 15301 W. Ventura Blvd. Owner Alex Miyawaki told What Now Los Angeles that he is aiming for a November opening.

Miyawaki became interested in golf during the COVID-19 pandemic. When he heard about golf simulator bars, he wanted to bring an experience of his own to the Los Angeles area.

Plans filed with the Los Angeles City Planning department indicate that Hapa Haus will occupy 7,983 square feet, with 69 indoor seats and 48 outdoor seats on a 1,526-square-foot covered patio.

Miyawaki said the spot will offer a Hawaiian-leaning menu and will feature five golf simulators. Hapa Haus is still in the early stages of development, so expect more details as they grow closer to opening.
