According to public filings, Tokyo Sushi is planning a restaurant in Harbor City, potentially expanding a concept that already operates in Simi Valley. The proposed location is at 1151 W. Pacific Coast Highway.

What Now Los Angeles reached out to Jae Yi, listed as CEO of E2 USA Inc., the restaurant’s operator, to inquire about the opening timeline but did not receive a response prior to publication. An opening timeline has not been publicly announced.

The proposed project is listed at 4,210 square feet, with seating for 137 guests indoors. The filing also indicates that the restaurant may qualify to serve beer and wine with meals.

Tokyo Sushi’s existing Simi Valley location is at 5830 E. Los Angeles Ave. A local report published in 2024 said the restaurant opened in late December 2023.

The proposed Harbor City restaurant is associated with a broad menu featuring nigiri, sashimi, classic and specialty rolls, sushi and sashimi combinations, bento boxes, tempura, udon, seafood ramen, teriyaki bowls, yakisoba and rice dishes.

The menu also includes Korean-influenced options such as bulgogi, barbecue short ribs and spicy tofu stew, alongside appetizers including gyoza, takoyaki and edamame.
