Top-notch cinnamon rolls, topped with lemon zest cream cheese frosting and devoid of animal products, are coming to Los Feliz! Less than a year after its first location opened in June, Just What I Kneaded vegan bakery is opening a second storefront this Fall.

The new 4681 Hollywood Boulevard space will act as a “grab and go cafe” for goods baked at their flagship Frogtown location according to Eater L.A., slated to open this fall.

Although the majority of production will still take place at the original 2029 Blake Avenue bakery, the upcoming Los Feliz shop will serve as a cake shop for the neighborhood.

Owner Justine Hernandez sells her locally-coveted cinnamon rolls at the shop until they are sold out each day; hand pies, cookies, doughnuts, “galaxy scones” made with a smattering of berries, stone fruit pie slices, elaborate cakes, a slew of other products and cups of coffee are sold at Just What I Kneaded’s 1,000 square-foot original site. Hernandez did not respond to a request for comment this week.
