Little Sister, a European-Asian fusion restaurant with locations throughout Southern California, is getting ready to open a new site in Los Angeles at 8500 Beverly Blvd.
The company’s fifth location will open on the ground floor of Beverly Center sometime next year, according to the shopping center’s website. Little Siter will sit in a massive standalone space along La Cienega Boulevard, next to Room Service, a co-workspace & membership program designed explicitly for the creative community. It’s unclear when Little Sister will open, but it follows in the footsteps of Lucky Strike, which is set to open in Beverly Center next month.
When Little Sister opens its newest location sometime next year, customers can expect various Vietnamese fusion options, starting with a handful of appetizers such as banh mi pate, crispy prawns, salmon crudo, and more. The restaurant also offers variations on salads, fish plates, meat options, soups, and more. Its banh mi sandwiches are topped with pickled daikon and carrot, sliced cucumber, cilantro, and slices of jalapeño, a spread of house-made egg yolk mayonnaise, and seasoned fries.
“At Little Sister, East-Meets-West dishes inspired by the rich collisions of food and culture that was born out of the European colonization of Southeast Asia,” according to the company’s website. “Dishes blend and balance the spices and flavors of Southeast Asia with French techniques and Dutch and British colonial influences. The menu is continually evolving, reflecting both new inspiration and changing of the seasons. Our restaurant carefully curates spirits, wines, and beverages, focusing on interesting flavors and pairings.”
