Luna Grill, a fast-growing Mediterranean chain restaurant with sites throughout California and Texas, is preparing to open a new location in Moorpark at 146 Los Angeles Avenue, Unit B.
The company’s new site will located next to the recently opened Habit Burger & Grill within the Tuscany Square Shopping Center. Rob Devericks, Vice President at Radius Commercial Real Estate, tells What Now Los Angeles that this location doesn’t have a timeline, considering the restaurant is in the process of seeking permits from the city of Moorpark, but confirms that Luna Grill is still opening at this location. This will be the 45th California Luna Grill.
When this location opens, likely in late 2024 or early next year, customers can expect various Mediterranean options. For example, the signature plates come with a choice of protein: grilled chicken, skewered bistro beef, koobideh, sustainable salmon, bistro beef kabob, flat-cut chicken kabob, grilled veggie kabob, or falafel. This is served alongside basmati rice, tzatziki sauce, pita bread, and your choice of a side: house salad, Greek cabbage, or our original or spicy harissa hummus. Luna Grill also offers pitas, bowls, salads, wraps, and desserts.
“We believe in serving real food made from real ingredients,” according to the company’s website. “As such, we are always working to reduce, eliminate, and avoid additives, preservatives, and other unnecessary ingredients whenever possible to serve fresh Mediterranean cooking. From our sustainable salmon to grass-fed ground beef and cage-free chicken, we are committed to selecting suppliers with high standards when it comes to farming practices and raising our proteins. Each dish is made fresh right after you order it. Our kabobs are marinated and grilled to order over an open flame to bring out their natural flavors.”
