Loz Feliz butcher shop McCall’s Meat & Fish is expanding to a second location in Santa Monica, located at 1426 Montana Ave.
McCall’s Meat and Fish Co. opened in January 2010 under Nathan McCall and Karen Yoo at its original location at 2117 Hillhurst Ave. The duo recently sold the company to David and Michelle Sarraf as the new co-owners of the company. Although the restaurant is under new ownership, head butcher Olin Schneider will remain with the company. McCall’s Meat and Fish Co. maneuvered through the pandemic carefully and was able to come out of it with enough momentum to open a second location in Santa Monica sometime next year.
When the new McCall’s Meat & Fish Deli does open, they will provide Santa Monica with plenty of healthy cooking ingredients through their market produce. For those who are looking for a quick bite to eat, they can enjoy one of their grab-and-go sandwiches, such as “The McCall” with mortadella, smoked coppa, pepperoni, and finocchiona. Finally, their deli will feature a wide selection of meat and fish available for purchase by the pound.
