It’s official: Armin Nouri of Naab Cafe — a Mediterranean joint with outposts in Westwood, Encino, and Marina del Rey — is opening a new concept this December at 1427 Westwood Boulevard in the former Bloomfield Creamery space.

Nouri tells What Now Los Angeles that the incoming operation will be a coffee shop sans food as opposed to another cuisine-driven branch of Naab Cafe.

“The inspiration behind opening Naab Cafe was our passion for creating a welcoming space where people could enjoy delicious food and good company,” Nouri further explains. “[And] we indeed have plans to grow throughout Los Angeles.”

While not much is presently known about the forthcoming coffee shop, including its name, it will join an array of cultural spots that dot the popular boulevard, including Cafe Glace which serves Persian pizza, Shater Abbass Bakery & Market, and Shaherzad Restaurant.
