Paoli’s Pizzeria & Piano Bar is adding a new dry goods market, called Mykonos, right next to its original location in Woodland Hills at 21026 Ventura Blvd.,
The new 900 square-foot space will be used to sell dry goods from Greece. Although there isn’t a set date for its opening, owner Pete Efstathiou hopes the market will be operational in the next couple of months. A few items found at this new market include dried fruits and vegetables, dried figs, and sultanas.
“Nicknamed “Hidden Hollywood in Woodland Hills,” Paoli’s Piano Bar and Restaurant is tucked into the famed valley area of Los Angeles,” reads the website. “Since its opening in 1984, we’ve been a staple authentic Italian restaurant in the valley.”
Efstathiou began his career in the restaurant industry in Athens before coming to the United States to become an entrepreneur. Now, the father of three owns an array of restaurants in Los Angeles and San Diego. He hopes the new market will help bring Greek culture closer to the community of Los Angeles.
Paoli’s Pizzeria & Piano Bar provides delicious family-friendly dishes, generous portions, specialty wine selections, and a full bar. Every night the restaurant transforms into an adult-appropriate karaoke/ dive bar starting at 9 p.m.
