Pho King Way, a Vietnamese restaurant in Mission Viejo, is expanding to a second location in Lomita, at 2244 Pacific Coast Hwy.
The new restaurant will move into a 1,300 square-foot space at an undisclosed time. The original location opened a decade ago and brought on some harsh criticism for its name. Despite the backlash, owner Alex Le created a restaurant experience that had customers wanting more. Le previously tried to expand this location in Carson but had to close down a few years ago. Now, Le gets ready for a second attempt at expanding the restaurant.
Pho King Way specializes in top-quality ingredients within its menu. Some highlights include vermicelli bowls, beef noodle soup, stir fry, fried rice, and other Vietnamese specialties. One of their largest menus is their drink menu, which has everything from mango and strawberry smoothies to Jasmine iced tea.
“Our Pho especially is made to satisfy a king’s taste, and we make it that way – Pho in the way of the King,” according to their website. “Our prompt service aims to make you feel like you are being treated regally. Tell us how you want your meal, and we will make it for you. Our menu allows you to choose from many options to design the perfect meal that would please any monarch. Your loyal subjects, we will cater to your every need.”
Want to clarify that Carson was our first location before mission Viejo. We sold it in 2019. Now we are expanding to lomita. It is not our second attempt to expand and Carson was not a failure.
