Local sushi spot Seabutter is expanding to Playa Vista this year. It has “coming soon” signage up at The Runway in Playa Vista, according to Toddrickallen.com.

The spot offers fresh fish and an inviting atmosphere. Menu items include various sushi options, with sashimi and hand-cut rolls, as well as tempura. The beverage menu features items such as hot sake, wine and beer.

“Our tireless search for the right ingredients helped us be able to create a menu with intricate flavors that aim to accentuate what matters most: the fish,” the website states. “Our team is looking forward to making your dining experience with us very memorable.”

Existing locations for the brand include spots in Beverly Hills, Glendale, Laguna Beach and Westlake Village.

What Now Los Angeles has reached out for more details on buildout and opening timeline for the Playa Vista location.
