Slice House by Tony Gemignani, a fast-casual pizzeria chain founded by Tony Gemignani, a 13-time World Pizza Champion renowned for his expertise in various regional pizza styles, is in the process of opening a new location in Porter Ranch at 19711 Rinaldi St.

The company’s newest location is set to move into the former home of Baja Fresh in the corner of Porter Ranch Town Center, according to a recent liquor license application. A representative from the company tells What Now Los Angeles that this new location of Slice House will be owned and operated by existing franchise owner Vinny Margott and the Margott family.

While it’s still too early to confirm an exact date, the opening is expected to take place sometime in Q4 2025 or Q1 2026. Customers can expect a variety of pizzas, including New York, Detroit, and Sicilian styles, along with sides like wings and fries. The ambiance will feature a casual, fast-casual setting for a quick and comfortable dining experience.

Originating from San Francisco’s iconic North Beach neighborhood, Slice House has expanded with over 130 units open or under development. Slice House is expanding rapidly, with multiple locations across California, including San Leandro, Belmont, Walnut Creek, Thousand Oaks, Mountain View, and Burbank. The brand is also entering new markets, such as Salt Lake City, Utah, and plans to open six locations in the San Diego area, including Little Italy and La Jolla.

Gemignani aims to open at least 60 Slice House stores in California, with additional locations planned in Texas, Arizona, Utah, Washington, Colorado, and Oregon. Slice House by Tony Gemignani is opening in San Diego on Saturday, May 17th, at 2100 Kettner Boulevard in Little Italy, marking the brand’s first location in the city.
