Dutch’s Brewhouse Owner Jason Van Fleet plans to open his new brewery in town this spring.
“We might do a soft opening on Sunday and will most likely open the first weekend of May,” he said. “We also might do a grand opening on June 15.”
According to a liquor license filed with the city, the small beer manufacturer will be opening at 3671 Industry Ave. in Lakewood.
Moving into a 4,000-square-foot unit, Van Fleet said the new brewery will be a callback to throwback breweries.
“It’s in an industrial park so it’s kind of hidden,” he said. “You’ll have to find us. It’s a little bit different and off-beat.”
He said it will be able to fit 60 to 70 people inside.
“Welcome,” Syncopated Brewing Co. posted to Instagram last year. “Syncopation: a variety of rhythms played together to make a piece of music, making part or all of a tune or piece of music off-beat.”
Syncopated Brewing Co. describes itself as a small batch production brewery in the 562 focused on community, collaboration, philanthropy, and having a good time.
Dutch’s Brewhouse, found on Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach, is a unique brewery where customers can brew their own craft beer and hopes to be a community brewery for those who want to express their creativity.
“I guess this makes it official. Stay tuned for the soft opening of Syncopated Brewing,” Dutch’s posted to Instagram this week.
