The Taco Stand is bringing its Tijuana-inspired tacos to the Los Angeles market. The brand has plans to open a shop at 2958 Beverly Glen Circle, according to a recent ABC permit filing.

Shōwa Hospitality founders Julian Hakim and Aram Baloyan launched the concept in 2013 in San Diego. Since then, the brand has expanded to 20 spots across San Diego, Orange County, Florida, Las Vegas and Texas.

Menu items include tacos, burritos, quesadillas, fries and breakfast items such as pollo ranchero.

The Taco Stand has other California locations in the pipeline this year in addition to the Beverly Glen location. Other forthcoming locations include a spot on the way to Irvine and a restaurant in Mission Valley.

Shōwa Hospitality is also behind concepts such as Shōwa Ramen and Sushi Tama.
