It looks like Zinque — pronounced zin-kæ — is coming to Westlake Village. The European-style neighborhood joint recently applied for a liquor license at Julio’s Agave Grill’s former space.

Zinque serves a menu of French-inspired dishes, small plates, craft cocktails and wine.

“Inspired by the zinc countertop bars & cafés of Paris, many of its customers consider it a second home—a place to work, linger & socialize,” says its website. “Live music, guest DJs, art workshops & wine tastings also make it a favorite community hangout.”

Zinque is open “from 7am till late,” serving full breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. It is owned by Emmanuel Dossetti, a French-born restaurateur and entrepreneur.

The cafe concept currently has several open restaurants throughout SoCal and one in Scottsdale, AZ. The new location does not currently have an opening date.
