Sipsy, a Los Angeles alcohol delivery service and retail brand, is planning a new boutique bottle shop in Los Angeles at 1512 W. Pico Boulevard.

The proposed 3,808-square-foot shop would combine the commercial spaces at 1512 and 1514 Pico Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles City Planning Department. The project is seeking a Conditional Use Permit to allow the off-site sale of a full line of alcoholic beverages, with proposed hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily.

The company had previously announced plans to take over the former Domaine LA space at 6801 Melrose Avenue, with the store expected to feature curated spirits, natural wines, and a tasting area for beer, wine, and spirits. Sipsy had also said it was looking to expand further in the Los Angeles market.

The approved determination letter describes the property as two adjoining lots totaling approximately 18,600 square feet at the southeastern corner of Pico Boulevard and Toberman Street. The site is within the Westlake Community Plan area and is zoned CM 1 with a Commercial Manufacturing land use designation. It is also located within the Los Angeles State Enterprise Zone and an AB 2097 Entitlement Area.

Sipsy’s website describes the company as a local Los Angeles alcohol delivery service that launched in 2019. The company offers spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and other products, with same-day delivery available in Los Angeles and shipping to more than 40 states. Its current website also lists a physical location at 4003 Beverly Boulevard, while the proposed Pico Boulevard project would add another retail space to its Los Angeles footprint.
