The Daily Catch, a Massachusetts-based Italian seafood restaurant, is opening its first location on the West Coast at 927 E. Colorado Boulevard, Suite 102, in Pasadena.
The company’s fourth location, and first outside of Boston, is set to move into the former home of Japon Bistro, according to a recent liquor license application. It’s unclear when the restaurant will open, but customers can expect signature seafood dishes like black squid ink pasta, fried calamari, stuffed calamari, and classic Sicilian-style pasta and seafood preparations featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Founded in 1999 in Boston’s North End, The Daily Catch quickly gained a loyal following for its authentic Italian seafood dishes. The company has since expanded to three locations, maintaining a focus on quality ingredients and traditional Sicilian flavors that have become its hallmark. The Pasadena location marks a significant step in bringing the brand’s distinctive cuisine to the West Coast.
The menu includes lobster fra diavolo, linguine with clams, black pasta with squid ink, and other seafood specialties made from recipes passed down through generations. This new Pasadena location offers fans a chance to enjoy these dishes while The Daily Catch continues to uphold its commitment to quality and authenticity.
Located on Colorado Boulevard, one of Pasadena’s busiest streets, this new spot benefits from high foot traffic and proximity to popular attractions like Old Pasadena’s shopping and entertainment district and the Pasadena Playhouse. The location offers an outstanding balance of visibility and accessibility, making it an ideal place for The Daily Catch to introduce its unique seafood offerings to a new West Coast audience.
