Yours Truly has permanently closed its Venice doors, at 1616 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Chef and Owner Vartan Abgaryan announced Monday on Instagram. Yours Truly temporarily closed at the onset of the pandemic and never reopened, nor will the Abbot Kinney restaurant.

“So thankful for this restaurant [Yours Truly] while it lasted,” Abgaryan wrote in the social media post. “I will miss all aspects of this restaurant and I hope I can recreate it one day again. But for now, thank you [Los Angeles and Venice.]” Abgaryan’s announcement arrives as LA County Public Health Wednesday is expected to close down outdoor dining amid the area’s largest number of COVID-19 cases.

Yours Truly is the second eatery Abgaryan and his partners have pulled the plug on in recent weeks. After a very short run, nearby outdoor sister concept Post Script has already shuttered. “It is with a heavy heart to announce that our labor of love will be popping-up no more,” according to the pop-up’s website. “Restaurants, and pop-ups in particular, are extraordinarily difficult in these times and yet we experienced even greater setbacks with loss of our outdoor grilling capabilities which was at the core of our menu and concept. We gave it our best effort and unfortunately could not afford to continue any longer with our augmented menu and concept.”
