Tommy’s Burger California Style serves burgers and breakfast items in Memphis. The menu includes sandwiches, pancakes, burgers, and breakfast items. According to the inspection report, violations included:

  • The inspection report noted that a pan of raw chicken and steak was kept above tomatoes and food.
  • Raw chicken and shredded raw meat were also kept above ready-to-eat tomatoes in the kitchen area.
  • The inspection noted a build-up inside the ice machine. The staff was instructed to remove ice and properly clean and sanitize the ice machine.
  • Several food items were stored at improper cold holding temperatures. The required temperature of 41°F or below was not maintained.

  • Water backing up from a floor drain was observed while the three-compartment sink was in use.
  • The back kitchen, especially near the sink area, was found to be unclean and not properly maintained.
