A report documented by the on-site inspectors notes 15 violations in total. The violations noted in the health report are as follows:
- The person in charge (PIC) did not wash their hands between tasks of cooking and getting supplies.
- The cooler racks and can opener were rusty and dirty, while clean utensils and an ice scoop had dust on their interior surface.
- The PIC lacked knowledge of the required cool-down procedures. The cool-down process was not monitored by a thermometer or time.
- Dish soap was stored atop the floor cooler, while dishwasher soap and sanitizer were placed on the 3-compartment sink.
- There was no thermometer present or used to monitor the cooked or cooled-down food status.
- Labels were absent from multiple food containers.
- Multiple food containers were not covered to prevent contamination.
- The clean utensils were not stored inverted to protect the food contact surface.
- In the food operation area, rusty cooler racks, rusty exterior equipment surfaces, and raw wood surfaces were present.
- The support leg of the drain board was damaged and required repair or replacement.
- Multiple pieces of food equipment in the facility were dirty and required cleaning.
- The walls and floors of the establishment were damaged and dirty.
- The lights in the overhead area were found not to be in working condition.
- The current permit was not posted for public viewing at the establishment. The last inspection report was not posted in the facility for public viewing.
