Tim Heeren, owner of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Memphis and Nashville, plans to launch drive-thru coffee stand 7 Brew, located at 1625 Union Ave., on April 17. Heeren tells What Now Memphis he is also very close to acquiring a location in East Memphis at 2019 Whitten Rd, with additional sites in the works on Germantown Parkway and in Olive Branch, to open in the coming months.

7 Brew is taking to the streets of Midtown to serve up fast coffee and a smile to patrons looking for their daily shot of adrenaline. The rapidly expanding drive-through coffee shop is growing by leaps and bounds, with 57 locations on the map and hundreds in the works for 2023.

The cheerful café will provide the surrounding community with approximately 40 jobs for aspiring “brewistas.” The company promotes a growth mindset, encouraging employees to aspire to becoming “head honcho” if they so desire. It also touts the stand as a great place to work, a “career starter,” a “cool hang-out” and a “whole vibe.”

The website explains, “Our goal is to make your visit the happiest part of your day. One stop at 7 Brew fills you with so much warmth, you can’t help but share it with others.”

“The music is loud, it’s rockin’ in there. …I’m 64 and it makes me feel young!” says Heeren.

The Seven Original brew flavors include Cinnamon Roll, White Chocolate Mocha and German Chocolate, available iced, hot or chiller style. Of course coffee classics are served as well, plus tea, sparkling water “Fizz,” smoothies, shakes, and even an energy drink for your afternoon pick-me-up.
