A Memphis chef known for preparing delicious wings is preparing to spread his own with a brand-new concept. Darius Buckner, the mind behind local favorite Crazy Coup, has been working his way through the permitting process for a new restaurant called Fleur.

Fleur will be setting up its kitchen at 1 Dr. ML King Jr. Avenue-also the address of the Landing Residences apartment building. A great deal of information is not presently available about the restaurant; the paperwork filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development provides two salient pieces of information. Fleur will be able to accommodate up to 299 customers and Buckner has applied for a sign permit for a permanent sign, suggesting that the process is moving along well.

While Memphis foodies may be left with more questions than answers regarding Fleur for the time being, they are in good hands with Buckner. He began his culinary journey in childhood, trained with a chef in Atlanta, and launched Crazy Coop to resounding success. Whatever his plans for Fleur turn out to be will certainly bring delight to Memphis foodies and sparkle to the local dining scene.
